‘Deer And Fox’ is a striking cut from Clara Moto’s ‘Polyamour’ album, released on Infiné last year. To give it a bit of perspective she has recruited a variety of remixers, giving the track some intriguing makeovers. Perhaps inevitably the one by Stacey Pullen is the most memorable, a percussive techno workout that feels perfectly paced and rhythmically alive. The DOP remix brings intriguing elements of the track to the surface, the vocal given the room it needs for the catchy hook to take hold, while the Ritornell mix applies an intriguing down tempo approach, nodding across the room to the jazz heads.
