Chase & Status have been causing some ruckus over the past year or two, top-notch releases dominating the D&B shelves and occasionally the dubstep shelves too. Here, though, they’ve teamed up with UK legend Kano for a full-on old-school hip-hop grinder. Incredible Bongo Band’s “Apache” break gets chopped to the strains of a Lou Rawls sample, resulting in a pure blaxploitation styled track for Kano to get busy with. Which is what he does, naturally. The hype is pretty big on this one right now but it’s deserved – this will be huge. Completely on track and destined to cause damage.
