Jakeone is head honcho at Flameboy as well as being one half of Toob. There’s three cuts on ‘One-Eyed Trax PT1’, the best being the very haunting ‘Shake’, as distant creepy pads give a marooned in space feel of isolation, leading to a slightly sadistic Starship Captain Barry White, demanding with menaces, ‘Get out of that bed, wash your face & hands, get in that kitchen and rattle those pots and pans, I want my breakfast coz I’m a hungry man’. This is one the most out there acid house / techno tracks around at the moment & it’s got a rather disturbing sense of humour.
