The opening cut on last year’s superlative min2MAX compilation is plucked off and fucked with to create a fearsome package of remix action. Massively-talented Magda injects alien frequencies and metallic flyswatters on the bassy undertow’s raised posterior, Konrad Black pumps a chunky ravey vibe, Sascha Funke turns in a typically-mesmerising horse-buttock whisperer and then comes the boss himself. Richie Hawtin’s Plastikman treatment is motoring, mean and dark with eerie riffage and major headfuck knob-twiddling. There are also mixes on download only from Troy Pierce, Adam Beyer and Jasper Dahlback plus a Robotman, which is a bit cruel but you can’t have everything.
