Italy’s Robytek is part of the Belivers production crew and, judging by the reactions, seems to have served up a summer monster. The original is dominated by tinkling electro melody soaked in deeply atmospheric strings which are given useful free rein in a beatless Reprise. The two remixes are killers. Simon Baker, currently riding ‘Plastik’, hops up a Hardflor-flavoured acid riff which motors along like a pressure cooker as effects and washes burst to escape. When they do it’s mayhem. The one causing much fuss comes from Germany’s Gold Ryan, who injects a warm, jiggling boogie groove while heightening the haunting riff.
