These guys have made a name for themselves with cover versions of Blondie’s ‘Heart Of Glass’ and production work for Dave Clark, International Pony and more besides. Here, though, they seem to be doing electro for art (students) sake, churning out a couple of ho-hum vocal tracks that don’t really go anywhere and struggle to maintain interest. Even they sound bored (and not in an ironic way). Fortunately, they know what side their bread’s buttered on, as the Doppelganger remix gets fierce with plenty of 303 lines and gritty, stomping synthesizer action.
